Danu Statue

Danu is the mysterious Irish goddess, recognized in name and spirit, but her association isn't found much in old Irish texts. Most scholars consider Danu to have been a mother goddess in Irish mythology. The Tuatha De Dannan, the primary gods of ancient Ireland, are named for her. In English, their name translates as “The People of the Goddess Danu.”
